What is Sun Park Living?
It's the first active community holiday resort in the Canary Islands (Spain), specifically in the island of Lanzarote, and is exclusively dedicated to fit and active people aged 50+, whom we fondly call 'Sun Rockers'. It's a friendly, comfortable and accessible apartment complex within a safe resort which also aims to be part of the larger community of the local town, called Playa Blanca.
What is the philosophy of Sun Park Living?
Our Ethos is simple, to provide our clients with a risk-free affordable living-solution for their long stays in Playa Blanca. We thrive on innovation and care passionately about real community living experiences, that's why we've developed Sun Park Living, to enable a 'back to basics' active lifestyle, getting in touch with nature, building relationships with new friends and neighbours, keeping fit and active, learn, volunteer and become part of a warm community of like-minded individuals. We have developed the right environment for reinvention and jubilation as opposed to retirement and boredom, here guests can finally do what they always dreamed of but never had the time to do.
What sort of activities are on offer?
We are proud to host the first centre for the University of the 3rd Age (U3A) in the Canary Islands (Spain), offering study opportunities in everything from Spanish language to arts and crafts, presence for the women's institute, bridge club, book club, in-house and outdoors sports, there's no limit, it's all community and visitors are welcomed too, so expect the list of activities to grow.
How are you involved with the community?
We are building an exclusive hub, a meeting point for all mature European ex-pats in Lanzarote and Playa Blanca. We've already granted new premises for the local Guides, Brownies and Rainbows as well as the Basket Brigade and Silver Line groups.
What kind of accommodation is available?
All apartments in the complex are non-smoking and come fully furnished, offering comfortable and spacious one bedroom apartments, with bathroom, open plan kitchen-diner, living room with a sofa bed, and terrace overlooking the beautiful gardens and pools, allowing you to move in straight away and start enjoying Sun Park Living from the minute you arrive. All apartments enjoy virtually all day sunshine and enjoy amazing views of the more than 8,000sqm of gardens, 4 pools, Fuerteventura island and the beautiful surrounding mountains of Playa Blanca, the south of Lanzarote.
How much does it cost the Sun Park Living experience?
Sun Park Living offers real value for money self-catering apartments, ideal for a rejuvenating 'senior gap-year' and long stay holiday/breaks in the sun. Apartments cost 499 pounds sterling or 625 euros per month, including all your bills!(utilities, service charge, council tax, TV, Wifi access and community living). Sun Park Living is definitely a place you can 'almost' call your own without any risks at all.

Absolutely! This isn't timeshare, nor are we selling properties or tying people into any contracts. It's simply a financially viable way of renting in the sunshine without breaking the bank.
